Jason D. Spears

Jason is a native of Philadelphia, Mississippi.  After graduating from Neshoba Central High School, he attended the University of Mississippi School of Business where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance.  Alongside his wife, he owns and operates their investment and financial strategies firm JDS Wealth Strategies.

Since moving to Columbus in the Fall of 2005, Mr. Spears has made it a priority to be involved in the community. Over the years he served on multiple boards including Link’d Young Professionals, Link Ambassadors, Lowndes County Foundation Trust Education Task Force, Crime Prevention Task Force, Excel by 5 Columbus / Lowndes County Steering Committee, and served ten years as a Trustee for the Columbus Municipal School District School Board. He is a graduate of the founding class of Leadership Lowndes County program. Additionally, he is the Cubmaster for Pack 2 Cub Scouts of the Natchez Trace BSA Council, a member of the Executive Board for the Natchez Trace BSA – Pushmataha District, a former board member for Competitive Soccer of Columbus Soccer Organization, former Tournament Director of the CSO Friendly City Shootout Soccer Tournament and is an active coach in many local recreational and competitive sports. 

Above all else, he is a devoted husband to his wife, Paige, and a proud father of three boys, Barrett, Pearson, and Henry.
